Fort Myers woman accused of driving wrong way while under the influence on I-75

A Fort Myers woman was arrested after deputies said she was driving the wrong way on I-75 while under the influence in Lee County.

Susan Bommarito-Malta, 53, was reportedly arrested after Florida troopers caught her driving south on the northbound lane of I-75 at Mile Marker 138.

Troopers were able to stop her before any accidents were caused.

Bommarito-Malta was arrested and charged with DUI (0.15 or higher or with a person under 18 in the vehicle).

According to documents, Bommarito-Malta was taken to the Lee County Jail.
