Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 29-year-old man from Fort White is dead after his car collided with a pickup truck in Gilchrist County on Monday.
According to FHP troopers, the 29-year-old man was driving on U.S. Highway 129 near Northwest 31st Way around 5 p.m.
Troopers said he tried to make a U-turn when his car hit the pickup truck.
FHP officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
