A 66-year-old Freeport Woman has died after an accident on Highway 98 near South Watersound Parkway in Walton County.
The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
According to FHP, the woman was driving a blue Nissan Versa traveling eastbound in the outside lane on Highway 98, approaching South Watersound Parkway. A 42-year-old Panama City male was driving a black GMC truck pulling a tailor in front of the woman.
Officials said the Freeport woman collided with the back of the GMC in front of her.
She was pronounced dead at Bay Medical.
