A serious vehicle accident in Gainesville closes the I-75 North on-ramp at the Williston exit early Thursday morning.
According to Florida 511, The vehicle crash happened just after 6 a.m.
Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies and Gainesville Police officers are at the scene.
Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say Southwest Williston Road, west of Southwest 34th Street will be shut down for an extended period of time.
Officials are asking drivers to find an alternative route.
