Gainesville man arrested after throwing chair at band during performance, police say

GAINESVILLE, FL – A 23-year-old man was arrested Friday after throwing a chair at a musical group performing at One Love Cafe, according to the Gainesville Police Department.

Authorities reported that the individual got on stage during the performance and entered into an argument with a band member before throwing the chair. The chair struck another band member’s parked vehicle behind the stage, resulting in dents, scratches, and approximately $2,000 in property damage. The individual walked across the street following the incident and was subsequently located and taken into custody by responding officers.
