A crash involving multiple vehicles and a structure in Fort Pierce resulted in the hospitalization of three people on Monday morning.
The Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD) said that the crash happened at 10:15 a.m. in the 3500 block of the highway, prompting both north and southbound lanes to be shut down temporarily.
Three individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment following the incident.
According to the St. Lucie County Fire District, crews were quick to secure the affected building. Following an inspection, the building was cleared and handed back to its owner.
