An evening blaze engulfed a two-story home in Palm Beach County, sending 22 fire units racing to the scene to combat the flames, which took over an hour to put out.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said that just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, firefighters responded to a house fire on 53rd Road North, located between 120th Ave North and Coconut Blvd.
Officials said that the initial report from a 911 caller indicated smoke and flames coming from the upstairs of the residence. Another caller was uncertain if the flames were originating from the house or nearby trees.
Upon arrival, firefighters reported finding a large two-story home, approximately 3,500 square feet in size, with the second story fully engulfed in flames.
