A garbage truck slammed into a mobile home in Hernando on Thursday morning following a fiery crash with a pumping truck.
Around 6 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said a garbage truck was traveling on Lecanto Highway and slowing to turn left onto North Paradie Point when it was hit by a pumping truck.
The crash caused the pumping truck to overturn and catch fire.
The garbage truck was propelled forward after the crash, forcing it to slam into a mobile home on North Paradise Point.
The pumping truck driver was taken to a hospital. The garbage truck driver and two people inside the mobile home were not hurt.
