Going across the hood': Man speaks out after being struck by Corvette in Miami

A man who said he was struck by a Corvette on Sunday while riding his bike in Miami is speaking out.

D M told NBC6 that he’s lucky to be alive and is hoping that those responsible for hitting him come forward.

He was riding his bike near the 1400 block of Northwest 14th Avenue when he said the car hit him.

“I remember going across the hood, like towards the windshield, hit the windshield, it was smashed, and I landed, has to be 20 feet or so from where I was hit,” M said.

M said his life could have changed in the blink of an eye.

“I was riding my bike, I was coming out of my apartment, and I came onto the street here,” he said. “I got to the intersection, look left for, you know, oncoming traffic, and didn’t see anyone, so I kept going on my bike. I look left again and I see a car coming.

According to M, the car that struck him was a silver Corvette that had three people inside.
