A crash between two SUVs along Douglas Road left one person dead, Coral Gables police confirmed Thursday morning.
The head-on crash happened Wednesday afternoon near Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
Authorities closed Douglas Road while they investigated.
Police have not publicly identified the victim or said who was at fault for the crash; it’s unclear if anyone will face charges.
