Cruisers blocked off Northwest 43rd Street at 39th Avenue following the crash.
Police officers said two drivers crashed into each other head-on around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the Gainesville Police Department, two people were taken to the hospital, one with a broken leg and the other who suffered a traumatic head injury.
