One person was badly injured in a crash on I-95 Monday night.
It happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Miami Gardens Drive at approximately 9 p.m.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said one person was taken by helicopter to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center as a trauma alert.
The highway was temporarily shut down while first responders landed the helicopter.
There has been no word on what caused the crash or if any other vehicles were involved.
