Hialeah man accused of road rage in Sunny Isles Beach

A 70-year-old Hialeah man accused of road rage in Sunny Isles Beach was at the Metrowest Detention Center on Monday afternoon, records show.

A man told police officers that he had stopped at a red light on Collins Avenue, and when the light turned green, he started honking his horn, according to police.

RM got out of his car, argued with the man in Spanish, and punched him in the face at 6:50 p.m. on Sept. 20, according to the police arrest report.

The man rear-ended M’s car, and police officers arrested M at 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Collins Avenue and 191 Street, according to the police report.

Miami-Dade County inmate records show correctional deputies booked M shortly after 9:10 p.m. on Sept. 20.

M, also known as RAMG, faced a felony charge of burglary with assault of battery. He appeared in court on Sunday and was denied bond.
