High-speed rollover crash backs up traffic in Palm City

Photo by: Martin County Sheriff’s Office

A high-speed collision left pieces of a pick-up truck scattered across the highway in Palm City, an unincorporated area in Martin County.

The crash happened at Southwest Ludlum Street and Citrus Boulevard, and drivers can expect delays in the area, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office stated.

According to the sheriff’s office, the vehicles involved were traveling over 70 mph before the wreck.

Deputies advise drivers to avoid the area as of 8 a.m., as debris still litter the roadway.
