House fire breaks out in Alva early Friday morning

A fire broke out inside a home in Lee County early Friday morning.

According to a Fort Myers Shores firefighter at the scene, the fire was just in one bedroom, and they were able to extinguish it quickly.

The firefighters were also able to rescue a dog from the room.

There are no reported injuries.

Right now, they do not know what caused the fire. However, state fire marshals are currently investigating.
