A house fire blocked lanes along Archer Road on Monday afternoon.
Alachua County Fire Rescue officials say an abandoned home caught fire around 3 p.m. on Southwest Archer Road just west of the Celebration Pointe shopping center.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
