House fire reported in Kanapaha Highlands, no injuries reported

Alachua County Fire Rescue officials responded to a house fire in the Kanapaha Highlands subdivision Saturday evening.

Firefighters responded to the house fire near Southwest 107th Street just before 11 p.m. They found fire coming through the roof of the home.

Fire rescue officials were able to contain all potential hazards from the fire. No injuries were reported.

A fire investigation was conducted, and firefighters say equipment failure was the cause of the incident.
