Interstate 10 westbound is currently closed from mile marker 31 to the Okaloosa County line following a motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries on Tuesday afternoon.
The eastbound lanes are reduced to one lane at mile marker 34 near the SA Jones overpass bridge.
Traffic is being routed around the accident via the Holt I-10 exit.
Authorities have not determined how long the closure will last.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the area and anticipate delays. Officials recommend seeking alternate routes until the roadway is reopened.
