A Fort Walton Beach, Florida, man was killed in a crash on I-22 Wednesday morning, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.
Douglas Koenigsfeld, 65, was fatally injured when the Jepp Patriot he was driving left the road and overturned about seven miles southeast of Brilliant around 8:50 a.m. Koenigsfeld was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating.
