I-75 lanes reopen after crash in Marion County involving semi-trucks

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Marion County were reopened after a Monday afternoon crash caused roadblocks.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the crash occurred near I-75 Mile Marker 345, near the rest area south of Ocala.

Troopers say a semi-truck headed north lost control, drove through the median and metal guardrail into the southbound lanes. The semi struck multiple vehicles, including two semis, an RV, and three cars.

Officials say no one was killed or suffered serious injuries in the wreck.

All southbound lanes were blocked for about two hours. As of this report, two lanes are back open.
