I-95 SB closes in Miami-Dade after crash involving tanker truck

Interstate 95 southbound closed on Sunday in Miami-Dade County after a Tropic Oil tanker truck rolled over and fuel spilled.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers closed I-95′s southbound lanes from Northwest 103 Street, near Miami Shores and Pinewood, to 125 Street in North Miami.

Miami-Dade County firefighters also responded and spent hours cleaning up the fuel on I-95 at Northwest 119 Street.

The Medley-based Tropic Oil Company supplies fuel and oil across Florida and is a Mobil distributor.
