The Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there were injuries in a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Pine Island Road on Sunday.
According to LCSO, deputies responded to the scene of a crash at the intersection of Pine Island Road and Orchid Cove Boulevard in Pine Island Center.
LCSO said there were injuries in the crash, but could not specify how many at the time.
Gulf Coast News crews at the scene observed a helicopter circling the area.
