Jacksonville man fatally shot after argument outside Wacko’s gentlemen’s club

A man was fatally shot after an argument outside of Wacko’s on Emerson Street on Tuesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said that at around 2 a.m., they responded to a call in reference to gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a man between 30 to 40 years old with a gunshot wound.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue took him to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Investigators said that as he was leaving Wackos, he got in an argument with other individuals, and then there was gunfire.

Police said it is an isolated incident and anyone with information is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or CrimeStoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
