Jacksonville man shot multiple times on W. 19th Street after argument: JSO

 The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on W. 19th Street.

Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital and was in stable condition.

The investigation revealed that the man and the shooter, who knew each other, got into an argument earlier in the day that led to the shooting. Police did not provide details on what the argument was about.

Authorities believe this was an isolated incident.

Crime scene detectives processed the scene, and detectives have interviewed multiple witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.
