BI and UM Claim Adjuster

An ideal candidate will have:

• At least three years experience settling BI and UM claims
• Be available full-time
• Strong negotiating skills

*Bilingual is a plus but not required.

*620 All Lines Adjuster license is a plus but not required.

Knowledge/Experience: An ideal candidate will have knowledge about:

• How to negotiate a BI/UM claim
• The process for settling a BI/UM claim
• Understand tort law in Florida
• Be able to communicate with clients in a positive manner

Qualities: An ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

• Be passionate about helping their clients
• Be warm and friendly to our clients
• Be able to meet work deadlines
• Be a team player
• Keep detailed notes in the file so everyone is on the same page
• Be organized

Daily Tasks: An ideal candidate will be able to do these tasks on a daily basis:

• Pro-actively call clients with updates (before they have to call you);
• Return client phone calls within 24 hours
• Communicate professionally with medical providers
• Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters
