JSO: Lenox Avenue north of Normandy Boulevard shut down due to crash with injuries

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says all of Lenox Avenue north of Normandy Boulevard is shut down Tuesday morning due to “an accident with injuries.”

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department told First Coast News one person was taken to a local hospital in critical condition from the scene of the crash.

JSO did not say how long the closure will last, as drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes on their morning commute.
