A Tuesday evening multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 blocked all northbound lanes for hours.
Just before 6:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the crash on I-95 at Butler Boulevard that appeared to involve at least three vehicles, including a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office cruiser. According to FL511, the off-ramp to I-95 north was also closed.
Lanes reopened around 10:30 p.m.
JSO said the officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further updates were provided.
Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes and expect delays in the areas.
