‘Keep trying me’: Argument over Christmas plans leads to stabbing

A 28-year-old woman allegedly stabbed a man with a knife, all while he was holding their infant child, after an argument over Christmas plans.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) stated that on Christmas day at around 11:16 p.m. they had responded to an apartment complex in regards to a domestic battery where they found S G, 28, yelling on a second-story balcony.

The man G was yelling at on the balcony told deputies that they disagreed about plans for the evening of Christmas, G had wanted to go to Delray Beach and the man did not want to.

After their disagreement, G left the apartment to visit an acquaintance, and the man took a nap.

According to the probable cause affidavit, G returned to the apartment pounding on the bedroom door which the man was in, holding an infant.

The man told deputies that G barged into the bedroom clutching a knife in her hands, she then came at him and began to “slash at him.”

Additionally, the man recorded the stabbing on his phone which revealed G yelling “Keep trying me,” as she was aggressively rushing towards him.

While attempting to defend himself, the report states that the man dropped the child he was holding on the hardwood floor.

The man ended up having a cut on his arm from the stabbing.

G has been accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and abusing a child without great bodily harm, she is being held on a $40,000 bond.
