Lake City Police Department officers arrested a man after they say he attacked someone with a pipe.
Officers arrested DH Jr., 51, on the charge of attempted first-degree murder on Sunday morning.
Officials say officers found a man walking on Southeast Baya Drive with wounds to his head and rushed him to the hospital.
Investigators determined the attack happened at a home on Putnam Street. Witnesses say H admitted to striking the victim with a pipe.
The weapon was found in the backyard with blood and hair on it.
He was booked into the Columbia County Jail with no bond set as of this report.
