Only the right lane is blocked as of 7:30 a.m. The collision happened around 5:40 a.m. just before Mile Marker 89 near Hypoluxo Road.
The major accident has brought traffic to a crawl from Lake Worth Road to Boynton Beach Boulevard.
Alternative routes are advised, such as Interstate 95 or U.S. Highway 441.
