A Lauderhill police officer was involved in a vehicle accident on Thursday night.
It happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area of the 1100 block of West Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
According to authorities, three vehicles were involved in the crash, including a Lauderhill police cruiser.
The officer was on his way back to Lauderhill after bringing an arrestee to jail, police said, when the collision occurred.
Three people, including the offer, were taken to Broward Health Medical Center with minor injuries, officials said.
There has been no word on the circumstances that led up to the crash.
