Lauderhill roommate argument ends with man stabbed, possibly with machete: Police

Police are investigating after they say a fight among two roommates in Lauderhill ended with one of them being stabbed, possibly by a machete, on Wednesday morning.

Lauderhill Police officials said officers responded to the 4100 block of Northwest 21st Street around 9:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds and another male with minor injuries.

Both of them were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Police were able to determine that the two are roommates who were involved in an argument, and that the argument became physical and a sharp-edged weapon was involved.

A machete was found at the scene but it’s unknown if it was involved in the incident, police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
