A Lee County deputy was taken to the hospital Friday night after being hit by a vehicle while investigating a crash on Orange River Boulevard near Southwind Drive.
The deputy suffered a head injury and is expected to be ok, LCSO said.
LCSO is investigating both crashes at this time.
