Lee County woman arrested, accused of throwing rock and injuring driver

A Lee County woman was arrested after she was accused of throwing a rock at a car in North Fort Myers Saturday afternoon.

Lee County deputies reported TB, 34, was accused of throwing a rock at a car driving down Ixora Drive in North Fort Myers on Saturday afternoon, hitting the vehicle’s side mirror and shattering it, with broken glass cutting the back of the driver’s thigh.

The driver flagged down a deputy at Domino’s Pizza nearby, initially claiming he had been shot.

However, the deputy informed him that the wound was not from a bullet. The cut was deep through his epidermis, and he was bleeding so badly that he required stitches or staples.

While the deputy was speaking with the victim, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from B, claiming the victim and another man were trying to kill her with guns. Deputies said this was false, as no guns were found on the victim.

B was arrested, and her probable cause affidavit stated that the victim had simply been trying to pick someone up from a house where B was present.

She is facing charges for aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability; missile into a dwelling, vehicle, building or aircraft; and criminal mischief – property damage from $200-$1,000.
