Just before 5:00 p.m., Walton County Fire Rescue, Argyle Volunteer Fire Department, City of DeFuniak Springs Fire Department, and Liberty Volunteer Fire District responded to a kitchen fire on Howell Avenue.

When firefighters arrived on scene, flames were visible coming from the roof, and crews quickly went to work.
