A major crash shut down all eastbound lanes of Bee Ridge Road near Tuttle Avenue on Tuesday afternoon in Sarasota.
The crash happened at 11:35 a.m. on Bee Ridge Road at Midland Road. The road was closed to traffic between Midland and Worcester roads but has since reopened.
Traffic cameras showed multiple emergency vehicles blocking the roadway.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with the investigation.
