A 64-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night on County Road 125 in Baker County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. near Cattlegap Lane.

According to FHP, the man was driving a truck northbound on CR-125 when, for unknown reasons, he failed to negotiate a curve and veered off the road.

Troopers said the truck then struck a fence before stopping against a tree.

The driver, from Glen St. Mary, died at the scene, according to FHP.
