A 48-year-old man was arrested Sunday on accusations that he forced a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him while he was conducting some kind of work at her home in Opa-locka, authorities said.
According to the suspect’s arrest report, the alleged sexual battery occurred Saturday afternoon at a home on Ali Baba Avenue.
Kissoon Puran, of Hialeah Gardens, was arrested the following day on charges of sexual battery on a minor and attempted false imprisonment.
According to his arrest report, Puran first asked the victim for a trash bag before stopping her as she was returning to her bedroom to ask for a hug.
The victim told Opa-locka police that she refused to give Puran a hug, so he asked her, “How about if I give you $50?”
Police said the teen once again refused, at which time Puran asked, “Well, what would $100 get me?”
“I guess two hugs,” the teen responded, according to the arrest report.
According to the report, Puran then pulled the girl into a nearby bathroom, locked the door and began touching her breasts and kissing her.
He then made her get on her knees and perform oral sex on him, authorities said.
Police said Puran heard the girl’s mother coming toward the bathroom, so he ordered the teen to hide in the shower.
According to the report, he left her $100 in 20-dollar bills in the bathroom before exiting.
Police said the victim and her mother reported the incident to police and the victim was taken to the rape treatment center for an evaluation.
According to the report, Puran denied having any sexual contact with the victim and denied giving her $100.
As of Monday afternoon, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
