A Groveland man was arrested on a warrant last week for hitting the mother of his children in the eye with a pressure washer hose.
On March 9, 2024, a deputy with the Lake County Sheriff’s Department responded to a complaint at an undisclosed Lake County residence, according to an affidavit of probable cause out of Lake County. Upon arrival, he met with the mother of 32-year-old ATB’s two children.
She was checking on her children’s well-being when B struck her in the back of the head with a pressure washer hose during an argument. When she turned around, she was struck again in the upper left eye. She sustained a swollen left eye that was saturated in blood, the affidavit said.
The two children described the incident as their mother had, corroborating her statement. B was last seen heading into the woods next to the residence, but he was not found at the time, the report said.
B was ultimately arrested on a warrant Wednesday, June 18, by the Groveland Police Department. He was charged with simple battery (domestic), transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond.
