One person was hospitalized after his roommate attacked and stabbed him while he was sleeping, the St. Petersburg Police Department announced.
Officers responded to the 5600 10th Street North regarding an attempted homicide.
The victim ran to the neighbor’s house while the roommate continued to attack him, officers said.
The suspect was found by SPPD hiding in the backyard and was arrested.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
