Man dead after being hit by train in Dover, deputies say

A man was killed by a train while walking across the tracks in Dover Monday, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said its 911 center received a call about a train hitting a man around 2:46 p.m. on Monday, March 24. Officials said it happened near Sydney Dover Road and Martin Luther King

Deputies arrived on scene and found the man dead. The sheriff’s office has since launched an investigation into his death.
