Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said one man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Marion County last night.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday morning near Southeast 175th Street and Southeast 155th Avenue in Weirsdale.
Troopers said the victim was traveling east on 175th Street when his motorcycle traveled across the opposite lane, into the grass shoulder and turned over.
The victim was a 28-year-old man from Weirsdale. Troopers pronounced him dead on the scene but were unsure if he was wearing a helmet.
