A 31-year-old man died after being shocked with a Taser during a struggle with Osceola County deputies early Sunday morning, the sheriff’s office said.
According to a news release, around 6:30 a.m. a patrol deputy noticed a D B-R running in and out of traffic in the westbound lanes of North Main Street near Vine Street.
Deputies said a fight broke out when they tried to detain B-R and the deputy shocked the man and placed him in handcuffs.
According to the release, B-R then became unresponsive and deputies started CPR.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, officials said.
