St. Petersburg police say a suspect is in custody after a man was found shot on the side of a street early Friday, then later died.
Investigators discovered the victim lying along Jefferson Circle North shortly after 1 a.m., police said.
The man, whose name was not released, was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t survive.
According to SPPD, the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the shooting.
No further details, including the suspect’s identity, have been released.
