A man died Thursday evening after he was shot at an apartment complex on the city’s Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said the man, aged between 30 to 40, was found with gunshot wounds around 5:30 p.m. at the Oak Tree Apartments on Lakeshore Boulevard.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue crews said the man died at the scene.
The investigation remains active.
