Miami-Dade police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning.
According to police, the shooting occurred shortly before 3 a.m. in the 10100 block of East Hibiscus Street.
Police said officers responded to the area after receiving a ShotSpotter alert and found a man inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim to Jackson South Medical Center in critical condition, however, the victim later died from his injuries.
No other details were immediately released.
