A deadly crash involving a pedestrian along Cleveland Avenue closed part of the road on Tuesday night.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the man who was hit succumbed to his injuries, and the driver remained on the scene following the crash.
Cleveland Ave is closed in both directions from Stella Street to South Street as police investigate the crash. FMPD said the road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
