A man has died after driving into the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach Monday morning.
West Palm Beach police say the crash happened around 5:10 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Flagler Drive near Good Samaritan Hospital.
Officers found that the car crashed into the sea wall and traveled into the water. West Palm Beach Fire Rescue also responded.
Divers took the driver out of the water and transported him to the hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have not identified the driver.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
