A man has died after he got pinned by a vehicle Wednesday morning that he was possibly working on at the time, Miami police confirmed.
According to police, the accident occurred just before 9 a.m. in the area of Southwest Seventh Avenue and Eighth Street.
Police said officers arrived at the scene and found the victim, who was about 40 years old, pinned by the car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami Fire Rescue.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was possibly working on a vehicle when the vehicle rolled and pinned him,” Officer Mike Vega told Local 10 News in an email.
No other details were immediately released.
