A man is dead after a hit and run crash in Putnam County Thursday night.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the crash happened at Church Lake Drive and Dawn Avenue just after 7 p.m.
The man was hit by an unknown vehicle and the driver fled the scene.
A person in the area called 911 after finding the man on the ground.
